The Course

This course is an ideal introduction to allergens, whether for experienced food handlers and supervisors or people new to working in an environment where food is stored, prepared, cooked or handled.

The course does not provide a qualification itself; however, the course does meet the required standard to become part of the Allergy Aware Scheme.

The content of the course can contribute towards the knowledge and understanding required to go on to achieve a Level 2 Allergen (RQF) Qualification.

How does it work?

Learners are given log in details and simply they can log on to the Learning Management System (LMS) and work their way through the course, along with scenarios relevant to their area of learning. Assessment is carried out on the completion of each module via a series of multiple-choice questions.

 

Certification

Learners will receive a Highfield e-learning completion certificate, which is downloadable upon successfully finishing the course.
